Abstract. The article deals with using popular songs as a method of teaching vocabulary. The aim of this article was to analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of this kind of teaching method. This article is based on the hypothesis that only motivated and interested students learn effectively. It is the using of popular songs that should quarantee students‟ motivation and interest. The effectiveness of this method was determined through different ideas and aspects.
